1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the KidQuest application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

KidQuest is a family habit-tracking application that allows parents to create tasks for children, manage rewards, and provide access to educational and arcade games. The App is designed for families with children aged 3 and older.

3. Accounts

A parent (adult 18+) must create an account to use the App. The parent is responsible for all activity under their account, including child accounts they create. Each child account is linked to and controlled by the parent account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the App for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts; upload inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content; reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; use automated tools to access the App.

5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

KidQuest offers a free tier and a Premium subscription. Subscriptions are billed through Google Play or the Apple App Store and are subject to their respective refund policies. Virtual "stars" earned in the App have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, and code in the App are the intellectual property of KidQuest. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7. User-Generated Content

Parents may upload photos (task proofs, gift images). By uploading content, you grant KidQuest a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display the content within the App for the purpose of providing the service. You retain ownership of your content.

8. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. KidQuest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Premium subscriptions in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App or by contacting support.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the country of your residence, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
